It's Hard To Ignore This Kind Of Crazy

Part of me wants to be mad, part of me wants to laugh, but mostly this just makes me nauseous.  I try to be open minded about things but this is just too much.

  2. Hey Scott,
All I can say is WOW! I wasn't sure what you meant at first about being mad, sick, or laugh. I do now. I felt sorry for the little red-headed kid when he found out Harry Potter was in for it. Unbelievable, the whole thing.
Not sure about where you live, but where I am (central Arkansas) I can tell you. I'm not worried about the catholics or protestant denominations. What worries me is the charismatic movement. It is growing by droves, because of stuff life this.
I'm like you. It's worrisome on a number of levels. I haven't always been here in Arkansas. I moved here from Indiana. Not real far from a small town where a fellow named Jim Jones taught. I hate to say it, but all I could think of watching the video is "Don't drink the kool-aid."

    Great blog,

  3. The documentary is very interesting. You won't agree with all of it if any of it but it is worth viewing. Valid points are made. Don't throw the baby out with the bath water. These people aren't like Jim Jones and I wouldn't say crazy. Do I agree with their tactics? No. But again, watch the whole documentary before denouncing the kool-aid. If nothing else, the Harry Potter comment is completely Biblical and something to consider.
